TikToker describes terrifying moment she discovers a stranger had been living under her home for months and films police arresting him saying: ‘Do you know how creepy it is to see an arm coming out of this hole’

A California woman has shared the terrifying moment she discovers a stranger has been secretly living under her home ‘for months’.

Ashly Guardino filmed as police came to investigate beneath her house after being awoken early in the morning by noises around her family home.

In the TikTok video, which has now racked up over six million views since the weekend, Guardino said she had woken up at 6am, thinking someone was climbing on their roof.

After poking her head outside the front door and spotting an arm reaching around from a hole in the side of her house in Lake Elsinore, California, Guardino said she immediately called police.

The TikToker then watched on as officers came to investigate before arresting a man who she said had been living under her floor boards ‘for months’.

In the TikTok video, Guardano said: ‘I’m standing at the front door and I’m, like, peeking out and I see the grass moving,’

She then flips her camera around to show a small hole that goes under her house. ‘A f***ing arm comes out of the hole and is feeling around.’

She then showed other holes around the side of the house and towards the front door where the suspect may have used to enter under the floorboards.

‘There is a whole a** man living here for months, living under the house,’ she said.

‘You know how creepy it is to see a f***ing arm come out of this [hole] feeling around the side of the house?

‘Imagine being half awake and seeing an arm, a dirty arm, coming out of this hole.’

Guardino then shows two officers, appearing to both be armed with shotguns, investigating the hole. One is seen crouching down to get a closer look as the other stands back with his weapon drawn.

They then ask a man to come out from under the house. After continued attempts to coax him out of the hole, the man crawls through and is immediately arrested.

A voice on the video watching on says: ‘He’s high as f**k.’

The video then cuts to show the man being escorted away into a police cruiser.

‘This is so scary but also so incredibly sad. We really need to do better for the unhoused in our country,’ one commenter said in response to the video.

‘It’s really sad and tragic how people have to resort to crawling into whatever space they find for shelter,’ another said.

Another comment read: ‘The anxiety this would cause me for the rest of my life I am so sorry.’

‘I honestly feel bad for him… and you as the homeowner of course but this shows the crisis we are in. Sorry for both y’all,’ another said.
